At Castillo Fab we specialize in transforming architectural visions into captivating models. Our mission is to work closely with our clients and form long-lasting relationships, striving to bring architectural design to life with precision, creativity, and reliability.

Founded in 2023, Castillo Fab began with a simple idea: leveraging the latest digital fabrication technology to make architectural models accessible to a broader range of designers. Founding director Carlos Castillo brings a decade of experience as a Model Maker to help our clients develop and execute their fabrication needs.

We can fabricate models for every stage of the design process, from volumetric models to full flesh exhibition quality models.

Carlos Castillo

Director

As a dedicated professional in the architectural model-making and fabrication industry, Carlos is passionate about bringing innovative designs to life through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. His experience includes working as a model maker for Rafael Viñoly Architects and Bjarke Ingels Group, where He contributed to some of their most prestigious projects. Additionally, Carlos has shared his expertise through teaching at Parsons The New School.

Sofia Narvaez

Studio Assistant

Sofia is currently pursuing a B.Arch at Pratt Institute, where she is honing her design and technical skills in architecture. She has prior experience in fabrication through a research assistantship at Pratt, and has a passion for precise and detail-oriented work.

Misheelt Batkhurel

Studio Assistant

Currently working towards obtaining a B.Arch at Pratt Institute. Prior to moving to NY, Misheelt completed an associate degree with a digital media certificate in architecture. Architectural fabrication and urban gardening are a few of the things that Misheelt is passionate about.

Gaoping Hu

Design & Strategy

Gaoping led the visual foundation of Castillo-Fab by designing the visual identity and website to establish brand presence. He built a photo archive system to structure and organize early assets, and developed the social media strategy including hiring, SOP creation, and content guidelines to support growth.
