At Castillo Fab we specialize in transforming architectural visions into captivating models. Our mission is to work closely with our clients and form long-lasting relationships, striving to bring architectural design to life with precision, creativity, and reliability.

Founded in 2023, Castillo Fab began with a simple idea: leveraging the latest digital fabrication technology to make architectural models accessible to a broader range of designers. Founding director Carlos Castillo brings a decade of experience as a Model Maker to help our clients develop and execute their fabrication needs.

We can fabricate models for every stage of the design process, from volumetric models to full flesh exhibition quality models.

Director

As a dedicated professional in the architectural model-making and fabrication industry, Carlos is passionate about bringing innovative designs to life through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. His experience includes working as a model maker for Rafael Viñoly Architects and Bjarke Ingels Group, where He contributed to some of their most prestigious projects. Additionally, Carlos has shared his expertise through teaching at Parsons The New School.

Natalia Alzate

Studio Assistant

Natalia has been a key member since Castillo-Fab's conception. She oversees the daily shop operations, from maintaining inventory to meticulously assembling architectural models.

Designer & Model Maker

Recently, he received my Interior Design BFA Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where his passion for hospitality, retail, and commercial design, history and theory of architecture, and 3D architectural model making were amplified to develop a stronger creative character.
